The new Citroen C4 Aircross

Citroen is extending its C4 range with the introduction of the new Citroen C4 AIRCROSS. This technology allows the car to be driven permanently in four-wheel drive mode, with the torque optimally distributed between the front and rear wheels.

By combining style and technological innovation in a single car, the Citroen C4 Air cross is ideally suited to modern lifestyles that introduce a sense of escape into everyday activities. The styling of the Citroen C4 Aircross draws upon the Marque's DNA, combining the vitality of the other models in the range with the powerful styling of an off-roader.

The sophisticated design of the Citroen C4 Aircross includes repeater lights in the door mirrors, light guides in the rear lights and a rearview camera built into the chrome trim on the tailgate.
The expressive style draws upon Citroen’s distinctive design cues. This technology allows the car to be driven permanently in four-wheel drive mode, while the torque is optimally distributed between the front and rear wheels.

Right from launch, the Citroen C4 Aircross will also benefit from the performance of the HDi 150 engine (also available with 2WD and 4WD with a 6-speed manual gearbox) and a 115 bhp 1.6i petrol engine (available in a 2WD version with a 5-speed manual gearbox).

Citroen says that its new C4 Aircross will be powered by two diesels which are coming in some different trims, like the 1.6 liter HDi with its 110 and 150 horsepower (270 Nm / 199 lb-ft), and a 1.8 liter unit delivering 148 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque (221 lb-ft), both mated to the standard six-speed manual transmission. Citroen didn’t announce the prices for its new crossover / SUV or if the vehicle can be pre-ordered.
