Volkswagen
At the ever expansion of the Volkswagen Group seems to be coming to an end. According to CEO Winterkorn breaks now a period in which all suspicion enterprises in the VAG group are integrated.

Volkswagen --, abbreviated VAG, has asked for a few years the largest car manufacturer in the world. The traditional giants Toyota and General Motors, however, a difficult story when only one or two brands in your portfolio can offer. Since the nineties, the German manufacturer therefore in good spirits on the takeover stepped. After Audi already in the sixties could be appropriated were in the past 25 years, Lamborghini, Bentley, Bugatti, Ducati, Porsche, MAN, Scania, Seat and Skoda at the VAG group were added.

At this acquisition anger now seems to come to an end. CEO Martin Winterkorn told the German newspaper Handelsblatt explained that the company currently has a decent chunk of integrating the latest acquisitions, Porsche, Ducati and truck manufacturer MAN. Especially the integration of Porsche must successfully go smoothly, with the purchase was indeed nearly 4.5 billion euros, money that course should be recouped.

Alfa Romeo
Despite the statements of Winterkorn running the rumor mill surrounding Volkswagen cheerfully. Thus, the German manufacturer eye drop on the Malaysian Proton and the Italian Alfa Romeo. Winterkorn is responding by saying that the acquisition of Proton currently total not at issue. VAG would strengthen its position in Southeast Asia like to improve, but thinks the current brands in order to succeed. Fiat subsidiary Alfa Romeo does have the interest of the CEO but is currently at the bottom of the priority list. So do not be surprised if we have a few years, if VAG his affairs again completely in order, still a struggle dissociate cracks about the famous Italian brand.
